Data Engineer / Specialist

We’re expanding our data team led by Jakub Novák and looking for motivated colleagues who are passionate about building modern data solutions and want to take part in designing and developing next generation data platforms. • Design and support data architecture — selecting services and applications, integrating systems, and presenting architectural solutions.
• Optimization of existing code and data processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues on the design of new data platforms or their components.
• Take ownership of data governance — data quality, master data, security, and access management.
• Implement and support tools for data quality and metadata management.
• Promote and communicate the value of investing in data quality and data governance.

• At least three years of experience with developing data solutions and working with data architecture.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and the ability to design architectural approaches.
• Experience with code optimization (SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data flows).
• Previous experience or strong interest in data governance (data quality, master data, metadata management).
• Ability to communicate the importance of high‑quality data.
• Knowledge of Databricks or Microsoft Fabric — ideally with certification, or the willingness to complete certification with us.
• Experience with cloud platforms (primarily Microsoft Azure) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Czech or Slovak at native level is essential. 
• Knowledge of English at B2 level or higher.
