As a Solutions Architect at Meonzi, your mission will be to design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions for complex enterprise projects across the financial sector (risk & security, DORA, AML, fraud…) as well as the energy sector. 

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our clients connecting business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with strategic goals. 

• Design and document end-to-end solution architectures, including diagrams and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability). 
• Provide consulting support and create concise one-page summaries for stakeholders. 
• Assess financial efficiency of IT solutions and contribute to project preparation. 
• Collaborate with internal teams and client-side stakeholders during presales and delivery phases. 
• Understand integration of contexts and architectural concepts across application servers, middleware, and databases. 
• Lead a team of 2–3 colleagues during design phases. 

First 6 – 12 month goals  

• Understand client requirements and translate them into clear solution architectures. 
• Prepare solution outlines and detailed design documentation. 
• Lead solution design workshops and create architecture diagrams. 
• Collaborate with sales teams on RFP responses and estimations. 
• Support large-scale transformation projects (e.g., fraud management system integration, core banking modernization, and more)

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior IT Analyst
• Strong solution design capabilities in financial area (risk & security, DORA, AML, fraud, ...)
• Ability to design models, create architecture diagrams, and write solution documentation. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly. 
• Domain knowledge in banking, finance, and payment systems. 
• Understanding architectural concepts and enterprise integration patterns. 
• Knowledge of Czech or Slovak language is mandatory. 
• English language proficiency at least on B2 level.

Nice-to-have skills are 

• Ability to estimate project costs and timelines. 
• Familiarity with security and risk management. 
• Knowledge overlap to Enterprise Architecture. 
• Experience with fraud management systems or trading systems in energy. 
• Certifications in architecture frameworks (TOGAF). 
• Certification in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). 
• Exposure to vendors like SAS or ThreatMark.
