Junior Data Engineer / Specialist

We’re expanding our data team led by Jakub Novák and looking for motivated colleagues who are passionate about building modern data solutions and want to take part in designing and developing next‑generation data platforms.

•     Build and maintain data pipelines and contribute to deployment automation. 
•     Tune and optimize SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and existing data flows. 
•     Help with design and shaping of new data platforms and their components. 
•     Own parts of data governance from data quality and master data to security and access management. 
•     Introduce and support data quality & metadata management tools. 
•     Advocate the value of data quality and governance within the team and toward stakeholders.

•     At least 1 year of experience in developing data solutions and willingness to learn.
•     Good understanding of integration patterns and data workflows. 
•     Experience with code optimization (SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data flows). 
•     Knowledge of Databricks or Microsoft Fabric is an advantage. 
•     Previous experience or interest in data governance (data quality, master data, metadata management). 
•     Proficiency in Czech or Slovak at native level is essential. 
•     Knowledge of English at B2 level or higher.
