As a Project Manager within the Data team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of data focused projects from initiation through execution and closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensure high data quality standards, and translate business needs into actionable outcomes. This role requires strong coordination, communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in an agile, fast-evolving environment.
A significant part of the role includes participation in a large-scale cloud data migration project offering substantial learning and development opportunities.

Job description
- Lead major data modernization projects to cloud platforms, with opportunities to gain advanced experience in modern data infrastructure.
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of data-related projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, and project timelines.
- Work in close partnership with the Delivery Manager to ensure smooth execution and alignment across teams.
- Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather, refine, and manage data requirements.
- Maintain strong standards of data quality and ensure compliance with governance and data privacy regulations.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing transparent updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Apply agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe or similar frameworks) to drive iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Utilize project management tools for as JIRA, or Asana project tracking and coordination.
- Identify areas for process improvement and introduce enhancements to boost efficiency and project outcomes.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with managing projects within data, or data analytics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage several initiatives concurrently.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- High-level understanding of data technologies. the more the better.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana).
- Experience working in agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe or other agile frameworks).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Czech or Slovak at native level is essential.
- Knowledge of English at B2 level or higher.
